Mine and Drew’s first wedding video: Aaron and Brittany Moreno, married October 29, 2011. This was a lot of fun to shoot, as the venue and everyone there had so much character. I walk past this guy almost every day going to class, and I noticed he was really good, especially compared to the other guys I’d heard playing. Drew and I decided that we’d ask him if he’d be open to us making a mini-documentary about him. He was more than happy to, and as we filmed this and got to know him, we found out he’s a really cool. PK Dwyer has been busking in cities across the world for over 40 years. You’ve probably heard the sound of his blues whether it be on a college campus, coffee shop, subway station, or even MTV’s reality show ‘MADE’. This is a glimpse of the man behind the wailing blues harmonica.

No Coast! Drift Competition

I had a blast on this project. Photo access at the track is always fun–best seat in the house! But more than anything I love drifting so I was stoked to have an event right here in my backyard to shoot. On top of that, everyone I met was so awesome. Huge thanks to Jim Guthrie for getting me track access! And thanks to Gerard Jacinto for the GoPro footage. Congratulations to my friend Dan Brockett for winning the whole thing; I’m looking forward to next year’s comp.

Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the second oldest autorace in America. I’d wanted to go before, but 2011 was to be the last year that there are dirt sections remaining, as the whole road will be paved for the 2012 running, so I had to go. Fortunately, this also turned out to be the year that Monster Tajima broke the magical 10 minute record with his GoPro Suzuki. It was such a cool experience to be there for this history-in-the-making. Everyone says this, but if you haven’t been to Pikes Peak, it’s definitely something that you should put on your bucket list if you enjoy auto racing at all.

Hooters Car Show

This was the first real event that I filmed after getting my new Pentax. I actually had the footage for a couple months before I actually decided to that I’d put together an edit of it, but I think it turned out okay considering.

I shot this with the kit 18-55 and edited it with Premiere.
